On April 1, 2023, IYCTC, through the Indonesian Youth Council for Tobacco Control II Forum, ratified a new name with a new branding – Indonesian Youth Council for Tactical Changes. Additionally, the Articles of Association/Bylaws documents were ratified along with an organizational structure comprising 16 officials led by the Chairman.
Throughout 2022, IYCTC conducted activities with coalition members, including the Indonesian Youth Summit on Tobacco Control (IYSTC) Volume 1, Jambore Pionir Muda, Youth-Led Activities for surveys on electronic cigarettes among youths, Shared Idea Space, talk shows involving young people and policymakers, and various other initiatives.
The Youth Mobilization Community held an action pick up 1,295 cigarette butts in the city park of Solo.
In 2020, the issue of cigarettes will be part of National Action Plan (RAN) of the National Children’s Forum.
Public Health students who are members of ISMKMI held a protest against the World Tobacco Asia (WTA) event.
Youth participation in controlling Tobacco in Indonesia began to be better known in the international arena.
As of August 2017, FCTC campaign For Indonesia from the FCTC Youth Movement has succeeded in reaching 208,856 people youth at the local, national and international levels.
At the initiative of the FCTC Youth Movement, 20 Youth from 17 cities successfully collect 11,022 Letters To the President.
FCTC Indonesia Youth Movement initiated in early 2015 by 60 young people child rights observers from various cities.
